According to international and national public health authorities, vaccination remains the most effective measure to prevent severe illness, complications, hospitalisation and the spread of respiratory infections within the community.
At the same time, simple personal hygiene measures, such as proper hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, and staying home when unwell, play a critical role in reducing transmission.
