ENT Surgery
ENT Surgery at PMC provides comprehensive surgical care for conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck.
Our ENT Surgeons diagnose and manage a wide range of condition, including chronic sinus disease, nasal obstruction, tonsil and adenoid disorders, hearing-related conditions, voice disorders, and diseases affecting the salivary glands. Treatment plans are tailored to each patient’s individual needs, following a thorough clinical assessment and appropriate diagnostic investigations.
Using advanced diagnostic methods and modern surgical techniques, our team performs both minimally invasive and conventional procedures with the aim of restoring normal function, relieving symptoms, and improving quality of life. We are committed to providing safe, effective, and patient-centred care, from initial assessment through to postoperative recovery.
Key Surgical Procedures
A surgical procedure performed to correct a deviated nasal septum that obstructs normal airflow through the nose. By straightening the septum, the procedure improves nasal breathing and may also facilitate the treatment of chronic sinus conditions.
A minimally invasive endoscopic procedure used to treat chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and other disorders of the paranasal sinuses. Using specialised endoscopic instruments, the surgeon restores normal sinus drainage while preserving healthy surrounding tissues.
Surgical removal of the tonsils and/or adenoids to treat recurrent infections, airway obstruction, sleep-disordered breathing, or other conditions affecting the upper airway. These procedures are commonly performed in both children and adults when clinically indicated.
A procedure involving a small incision in the eardrum to drain fluid from the middle ear, followed by the placement of a tiny ventilation tube (grommet). It is commonly performed to treat persistent middle ear fluid, recurrent ear infections, and hearing impairment related to poor middle ear ventilation.
A specialised endoscopic procedure that allows detailed examination and surgical treatment of the larynx (voice box) and vocal cords. It is commonly used to diagnose and treat vocal cord nodules, polyps, cysts, and other benign or suspicious lesions affecting the voice.
Laser-assisted surgical procedures used to treat selected benign and malignant lesions affecting the larynx (voice box) and upper aerodigestive tract. Laser technology enables precise tissue removal while minimising damage to surrounding healthy structures, helping to preserve important functions such as speech and swallowing. These procedures are performed with the aim of achieving effective treatment, improved recovery, and optimal functional outcomes.
Specialised microsurgical procedures performed to treat chronic ear disease, recurrent infections, and hearing-related disorders. Tympanoplasty is used to repair a perforated eardrum and restore hearing function, while mastoidectomy involves the removal of diseased tissue from the mastoid bone behind the ear. These procedures aim to eliminate disease, improve hearing where possible, and restore the normal function of the ear.
