EDUCATION

Dr Fedra Panayiotou has an extensive academic and clinical background. She began her educational journey by excelling in secondary education, graduating with distinction from High School. She then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Leeds, where she gained a solid foundation in medical sciences.

Following this, Dr Panayiotou completed her Medical Degree at Comenius University in Bratislava, further refining her clinical expertise. In addition to her academic qualifications, she is a certified Advanced Life Support (ALS) Instructor, accredited by the European Resuscitation Council.

SPECIALIZATION

Dr Panayiotou specialised in Internal Medicine, completing her training at two leading hospitals in Cyprus. She spent two years at Limassol General Hospital and three years at Nicosia General Hospital, where she gained comprehensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient care.

Her training involved working in various departments, including Accident & Emergency, Intensive Care, Rheumatology, and Cardiology, providing her with a well-rounded medical expertise. She has developed a particular focus on managing chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Hypertension, and Dyslipidemia, ensuring her patients receive tailored and effective care.

EXPERIENCE

Dr Panayiotou is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care, rooted in active listening and evidence-based practices. Her clinical approach focuses on helping patients manage chronic conditions, preventing illnesses, and promoting overall health.

Throughout her specialisation, she participated in numerous seminars and workshops, where she both attended and presented, continuously enhancing her medical knowledge and clinical skills. This dedication to professional development reflects her commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in medicine and science.

In 2025, Dr Panayiotou joined the General Health System (GHS), where she continues to deliver high-quality care to the community, maintaining her focus on preventative medicine and chronic disease management.
