In a global effort to raise awareness on Breast Cancer, October is designated to inform the public about the disease and show support to those affected by it.
***Early detection saves lives!***
Make sure to have:
– A Self-Exam: in the shower, in front of a mirror and lying down.
– A Clinical Breast Exam of skin and tissue, during your annual routine appointment with your gynaecologist.
– A Mammogram and an Ultrasound: women over 40 should have Mammograms & Ultrasounds every 1/2 years. In case of high-risk factors, women should consult with their doctors on when and how often they should be examined.
Checking. Preventing. Saving lives.
