Dr Symeonidou is the Head Internal Doctor at Platonas Medical Center (PMC).

She studied general medicine at the St Petersburg State Medical University, and earned her PhD. in medical sciences from the St. Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Studies.

Her previous experience includes the Medem International Clinic and Hospital, St. Petersburg, where she worked in the department of endocrine surgery, and at Dr George Astras Oncology Services at the American Medical Center, Cyprus.
