EDUCATION

Dr Savvakis Papadouris graduated from the Medical School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, in 1977.

He actively participated in the Scientific Program on a clinical level, as well as in the Educational Programs of the Medical and Nursing Service of the General Oncology Hospital of Kifissia.

SPECIALIZATION

He was a member of several Scientific Societies, is a founding member of the Lung Cancer Society and a member of the Board of Directors of the Preventive Medicine Society. He has participated with papers with interest in clinical research and treatment of solid cancer tumors at National and International Conferences.

EXPERIENCE

From March 1983 until 2017 he served as a Pathologist – Oncologist at the General Oncology Hospital of Kifissia “I Agioi Anargyroi” from where he retired with the rank of Director from the 2nd Department of Pathological Oncology, under the National Health System of Greece.

At the administrative level he was an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Hospital, a member of the Educational Committee and the Scientific Council, as well as a key executive of the intersectoral Endoscopy Department of the Hospital.
