EDUCATION
After completing her secondary education at the Archbishop Makarios Lyceum in 1995, Dr Mina went on to acquire her Medical Degree in 2001 from Ovidius Medical University in Romania. She has a Diploma in the ‘Research Method’ from Lund University in Sweden which she completed in 2009. From 2007 to 2009 Dr Mina also took an online course in Rheumatic Diseases acquiring a Diploma from EULAR School of Rheumatology. In 2016, Dr Mina completed her Diploma in Paediatric Rheumatology also from EULAR School of Rheumatology.

Dr Mina specializes in Rheumatology and subspecialisation in Paediatric Rheumatology.
EXPERIENCE
In September 2001 Dr Mina worked and trained in Auscultation at the Tufts University Hospital in Boston emergency department, until May 2002. From 2002 to 2003 Dr Mina did her Preregistration at Nicosia General Hospital. In 2003 she returned to Cyprus where she worked as a Junior Doctor, at the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre, Nicosia until 2005. She then continued her training in Rheumatology at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, also at the departments of Internal Medicine, orthopaedics, and infectious diseases in Halmstad, Sweden. From 2010 to 2012 Dr Mina served as a Consultant Rheumatologist, at Spenshult Hospital in Sweden – specially oriented in the rehabilitation and treatment of Rheumatic diseases. She then went on to work at Lund University Hospital as a Consultant in Rheumatology, where she also trained in Paediatric Rheumatology. For the past 10 years Dr. Mina has worked at the American Medical Centre – American Heart Ιnstitute in Nicosia as a consultant Rheumatologist and Paediatric Rheumatologist. She still holds a position at the University Hospital of Lund, Sweden, at the department of Pediatric Rheumatology, on part time basis. She also has private practice in Cyprus since November 2012.
While in Sweden, Dr Mina also taught 4rth year students as well as younger colleagues in both fields of Rheumatology and Paediatric Rheumatology. She is currently the lead teacher of Rheumatology at the University of Nicosia Medical School.
